My son loves everything about baseball. He played on a Little League team as soon as he met the age requirements, and he has not stopped since. He is in high school now, and he wants to play college ball as well. This last season, he thought his dreams were dashed when he was in a car accident on the way home from a game. He did not get hurt as badly as some of the others, but he was still in a lot of pain. After he was released from the hospital, I contacted a Camas chiropractor because my son was still in a considerable amount of pain.
Thankfully no bones were broken, and the doctor at the hospital was not able to find anything else wrong with him either as far as major injuries. He did say he would be sore for a while because of the impact. My son knew how lucky he was, but he still could not help but worry about his future since it can take something much less than what he had been through to ruin his pitching game. That is why I wanted to get him to the chiropractor in Camas sooner rather than later.
The first thing the chiropractor did was a physical examination. He had already seen the report from the hospital showing no internal injuries like a broken bone or any damage to his organs. My son did not have impressive range of motion at all, but the chiropractor told us that he could help him immensely with that. This was during my son’s off season of baseball, and by the time the season did start up, he was as good as new. In fact, his numbers are even better now, and my son believes that is 100 percent because of his chiropractic care. That is why he is still going there now!
